Our new CD - The Cougar Creek Sessions - is now available. This CD has
been our labour of love — we've been at it for over 12 years! We hope you will agree that it
was worth the wait.
With Cougar Creek Sessions the band moves into new directions. Branching out from our Celtic roots,
the new CD explores an eclectic mix of musical styles reflecting our diverse interests and influences.

The Band
Next of Kin is comprised of Rob Holt, Bruce McGee, and Rick Schneider. The band got its start 20 years ago, when the three of us were doing grad studies at the University of Alberta. We're now scattered across Western Canada, but continue to get together regularly to play and record music - our true passion.
Our music features strong vocal harmonies, rich instrumental arrangements,and lyrics that matter. It’s original, it’s eclectic, and it’s infused with energy that will make you sit up and listen.
